The shield acts as a +1 weapon when used to bash. This one came to mind as I like the idea of a medium armored agile guy, able to fight and jump rapidely with both a longsword and a shield, with a bow on the side, and a hooded cloak.

I created this little extension to get rid of the several copies of the same weapons in the action tab ( 3 longswords, 2 daggers, 2 battleaxes and so on ) It provides a new button to identify the weapon attack as 1-handed, 2-handed or offhand.
