The breakfast in the hotel was fantastic and full of variety and again large portions. I am also so glad you appreciated our pet friendly policy and beautiful condos.
However, to the room was VERY small and such a disappointment.

The Lodge at Vail handled the situation with grace & integrity. We did get a small chocolate for that, "very nice"... we stayed at the "pet friendly" room, which had a floor unit AC... Elway's restaurant was awful too.
Global Warming has created an issue for those in these condos, however. Helping to make memories is what we do, and we were so happy to be able to take care of our locals and make your special weekend even more special! Lana Karpova not only deserves a raise for her warm welcome and level of service but also for managing an excellent front desk team. The staff, the facilities, the service, and experience were all sensational! It is how they are handled afterwards that makes all the difference. I can’t give the Tivoli Lodge, its staff, and owners enough stars!!! Valet service is mandatory for those who drive. You can walk to pretty much everything in the village - the location is outstanding.
Our amenities such as the pool are great, but our lovely staff is what truly makes this place special and I am pleased they were able to do so for your family. The Tivoli, with it’s friendly staff that became family, big cozy rooms, beautiful views of the mountain, and location in the heart of Vail Village was everything we envisioned for the best weekend of our lives and we can’t thank Bob, Diane, Debbie, Samantha, and the rest of the Tivoli staff and family enough for their amazing service and hospitality. The only staff training issue was that three different sources gave three different quotes on the nightly pet fee. Lana, Shannon, Gus, and Eric are some of our best employees, and I am thrilled to hear they were able to blow your expectations out of the water. The housekeeping staff was punctual and provided a very comfortable level of cleaning and turn-down service. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only. Should you have more guests than our space is able to accommodate, our attentive staff at the Tivoli Lodge will work with you to block your guest rooms, recommend Vail wedding venues, and suggest caterers and others to help you plan your special day. The hotel provides window air conditioners and fans, but one bedroom upstairs has nothing but a skylight and cannot accommodate the air conditioner. There are two restaurants onsite, Elway's being one of them. But, I guess, staying in Vail is worth it. Thank you again for choosing us to host your special day, as well as your fantastic review and recommendations. But the key to integrity is how you handle a difficult situation. Being a Vail Valley local for 10 years, it's always nice to have a staycation in our dream destination, Vail. We aim to make every stay as memorable as possible, and it sounds like we met that mark even with the little hiccup at Cucina!

With 166 miles of hiking trails, 343 miles of mountain biking trails and more than 225 shops and restaurants, summer in Vail provides endless opportunities to relax, recharge and explore. Ten years ago very few properties had air conditioning, and due to the hotter weather it is quickly becoming standard for hotels and rental properties. While the hotel rooms themselves are air conditioned, the condos are not.
